Through the Years...

Selfies is a video featuring the Project Butterfly New Orleans Butterflies-in-training. The video explores stereotypes African American girls encounter in messages in media, from the community and other institutions in which they interact. Through Selfies, our girls push back on those stereotypes and enact self-determination by defining themselves for themselves.
